have fun in wangas. i was back there a couple of weeks ago for my grandmas funeral, and now i'm waiting for an old school friend's funeral but i think it's just a family affair. hard to say goodbye if that's the case...
I'm annoyed - there was this great programme called Dreamspaces on BBC World the other night, where they look at fabbo architecture around the world. One place they went to was Federation Square - and that reminded me that when I was in Melbourne last year, I meant to check it out but not only forgot, didn't even know I'd forgotten until this week.
Funnily enough, I had been to one of the three places they featured - the Tricorn centre in Portsmouth, which is about to be demolished for its overwhelming ugliness: http://www.bbc.co.uk/southampton/webcams/tricorn.shtml
Barry, that is one ugly building. I clicked through the gallery, showing the demolition and onlookers - one guy holding a sign saying 'We will regret it'!? Some freaky machinery pics too.
Scribbles, I heard about that. I knew him a little when I was at school :(

What about that Federation Square - like a giant rock climbing wall, or something. Without the bumpy bits.
Enjoy the Nui! Whereabouts is your dad living now? I remember the old house, before it was car-parked.
Aww.. don't remind me... Dad's living off Selwyn Cres now. It's okay, but it's not the same.
Glad you made it to Melbourne and back.
