Two Cassette Shows
Tonight with Grand Prix and tomorrow night with Connan and the Mockasins, at the Odeon Lounge. In honour of Cassette, whom I love, I bought these earrings yesterday while cruising the mall in Henderson. Coincidentally I bumped into the Cassette guys last night and of course waved my ears at them. I think they were a bit chuffed, although maybe it just weirded them out.

Once they get over being weirded out, maybe you could ask them where their CD has got to. Some of us have been waiting oh so patiently ever since they promised it back at the beginning of the year.
Haha, will do Barry! Although I think they finished the album a ways back, and I hear it's to be released early next year, on Tardus. I think.
The album is great..i'm gonna miss the dudes on saturday as i am doing a stupid DJ JOB... POO POO PEE DO! and you will see them twice, oh they are glorious.

I got to the Odeon one song into Grand Prix's set. I really dig that band!! Slowcore sort of country songs about race cars... awesome! More about them here.
Cassette were great too, their set was a mix of old and new and it was nice and relaxed. I am looking forward to seeing them again tonight (Sam - :p) with Connan and the Mockasins and Teen Wolf!!! whom I forgot to mention above.
