January 12, 2006

So slack am I.

I am a bad blogger.

I have moments of inspiration between 8 and 10pm, only my laptop remains at work and there I am in front of the tv at home.

Some stuff I would have liked to write about:
  • Kora kicking my ass on Sunday at Myers Park
  • Repeated and persistent applications of fake tan reducing health risk to bystanders
  • Consumption of Macintoshes toffee leads to lost filling
  • New filling leads to major cashflow drama
  • Have watched entire first season of Extras (okay, there's only 6 episodes) as well as all the extras and am utterly in awe of Ricky Gervais (although I'm not that sold on the podcasts)
  • Work is full on and will continue to be so for another eight days. I'm counting. Are you?
Okay, gotta run. Once January is behind me, I'll forget it ever happened and get back to writing about my New Year's Eve and sort out some resolutions, that kind of thing. I'm still working on my Listening Pile for 2005, too.

I'm off to Melbourne in two weeks!

I agree Extras v v good. Personally I'm more in awe of Kate Winslet (that has to be the best episode). I have tried to tell people about how funny that is but am always too mortified and embarrassed when I get to the really funny part. I'm just too damn demure. Katy

I love Ricky Gervais' podcasts, but more for Karl, and the mocking that ensues. I quite enjoyed the episode when they discussed the proverb "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" - he actually "thought" it meant that, literally, people that live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones, cos they might break their house (or something).

It was funny, trust me :)

I'm still waiting to watch my first episode of Extras, it's sitting at home, waiting for me to bring my laptop home :)
