Oh I miss it. Is that concrete shed thing still at the base of the cliff? The one we used to call Fred Flintstone's house?

Another blog I read was talking about Wanganui Savemart yesterday. I'm getting badly nostalged at the moment.

Oh yeah, Fred Flintstone's house - the infamous concrete bunker that was a clifftop lookout for the invading Japs back in the war days! How silly. Must have sunk into the beach by now surely...

I think that just the top of the bunker is visible nowadays.
