Um, off topic, am I a bad person for thinking him and Helen Clarke bear a striking resemblance...?

I know he had to pass sometime, but I still wasn't ready for it. I have been fascinated by Edmund Hillary since I was a kid. Read all the incarnations of his autobiographies and marveled at how no-nonsense he was.
I think I was most struck by what he accomplished when we walked through a school he helped build wayyyyy up in the Himalayas about a dozen years ago now. The village barely had running water, but here was this much used and loved school.
I reckon he would have been a bit embarrassed by the state funeral he's getting.
