Matthew Macfadyen = Mr Darcy

Huh??

What is he playing at? He hasn't even read the book!

I mean, sure he's pretty hot in his intensity in In My Father's Den, but does he really think he can follow an act like Colin-Firth-as-Mr-Darcy?

Well.

Let the boy try.

Oh, and wow! Darcy fans, check this site!

After following all your links (as you do), I had to throw on my P&P DVD. It's just so... British! Love it.

I think he did a good job of playing Mr.Darcy. I just saw the film last night and I loved it. Its funny but I came across your blog while looking for pictures of him so I could post something on mine. How is Auckland? My mom is staying there this year and I want to join her after I'm done my semester (fingers crossed).

Stop by some time.

TTyL!

Thanks all. Pic appears to have fallen off server, no doubt due to extreme interest. Sorry. It wasn't that great a shot anyhow.

Thanks for the suggestion M. I have read the book. Let's agree to disagree, anyway. Have you SEEN the BBC version? I finally saw the 2005 film, see my thoughts here.

Excuse you but Matthew MacFadyen did a WONDERFUL job as Mr. Darcy. He became the character and did the part justice that no one else could have done.
