vrmmmm vrmmmm

Is it wrong for me to get so much happiness from driving a Range Rover?

Music I want: The Postal Service.

Who are these people on nzmusic.com? I haven't even heard of half the bands they talk about.

What kind of a question is that? You must be getting old, or something.

(Says an old person of about 10 years good standing in the no-longer-with-it demographic)

Yes you need the Postal Service. Also you should go to:

And get some live versions also.

I didn’t want to html in case it didn’t work and I embarrassed myself.

People are judgemental.

Oh my GOD Jessie! Yes! The Postal Service are so very very awesome. They come with one of my higher recommendations. It's not just a casual recommendation. It's a high one. Speaking of high ones, when are you going to come to my house and sit in my backyard and listen to the Postal Service and smoke "The Postal Service" with me? Not that anyone does that... Hmm. It's a shame that you weren't here last night. The Phoenix Foundation gig was superb.

Lisa, you're part of the reason I'm curious - I love that track 'Sleeping In' on that excellent comp you made me last year. And also 'The District Sleeps Alone Tonight' on a Rough Trade comp called Counter Culture 03.

Anywiz.. have just spent four hours in the car listening to ancient (and not-so-ancient) mix tapes cos my tapedeck refuses to accept my tape adaptor.. so no ipod :(

Still, the odd bit of Fields of the Nephilim/Tool/Big Black does no harm!

Oh and thanks for that link Gina, will check it out. If anyone's into Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and didn't see the bulletin on myspace, there's a good live show of theirs here.
