It's a conspiracy

I mentioned to my friend Johnny how I’d seen FOUR pregnant women in one day on Courtenay Place. He nodded knowingly, and made the obscure comment: “It’s seasonal. It’s a male thing…” before trailing off. He wouldn’t be pressed on the topic.

What gives?!

How was HIS behaviour say, 4 or 5 months ago then?

I think llew is correct.

Thanks for the help, Llew and Mike. As for the rest of you *glares at male readership* I suppose you feel you're protecting some ancient fellowship, huh! Well, keep it to yourselves then. I have no desire to know of anything remotely pregnancy-related for quite some time yet.

I'm as much mystified as you are Jessie. And I wish never to know anything pregnancy related, at least where I'm responsible.

Hah!

*grins sardonically*

If it's a "male thing" then i'm worried. Personally, i reckon he didn't have any kind of realistic answer at all, and thus fobbed ya off with a bollocks "mystery".

Unless there's something unusual about N.Z. men?

The Super 12 finishes around the last weekend of May. You should therefore be noticing an increase in full term women round about now.
